It helps to ask yourself: what would I do if money weren’t a factor? Circumstances can change: a new job, a promotion, finishing school. In the meantime, there are programs designed to help bridge that gap.
Some resources available to you include:
- WIC (Women, Infants, and Children): provides healthy foods, formula, nutritional counseling, and breastfeeding support
- Pregnancy Medicaid: offers free or low-cost health coverage for low-income pregnant individuals, including prenatal care, delivery, and 60 days of postpartum care
We can also connect you to local organizations that provide baby clothes and other essentials at no cost. And if you need someone to talk to, we’re here for that too, without judgment.
